Where do swim lessons occur?
All lessons are held privately at your home pool or a pool that can be used with permission. It is entirely up to you to locate and obtain permission for a pool.
What size does the pool need to be?
A pool does not have to be very big. It should be at least four feet deep in one area and be at least ten to fifteen feet long and five to ten feet wide. The size of the pool just dictates what skills can be taught. For example, if your pool isn’t four feet deep, it could possibly work but the skill of jumping in would not be a taught.
Can the swim lessons be held at the beach?
No, because it limits the skills that can be taught due to currents and waves, visibility and buoyancy. However, I can take comfortable pool swimmers into the sea just to get them acquainted with the difference.
What is the cost of the lesson?
Each lesson cost EC$60 per child per session.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions last from 30-45 minutes.
How many children in each session?
The number of children in the session depends on you. So, if you had a group of interested friends then we could have a maximum group of four in a session.
When can my child start?
Your child can start as soon as they are capable to following directions and potty trained.
What is needed?
A comfortable swimming suit and a pair of one-piece construction goggles. Goggles are not a requirement but extremely helpful.
Can parents participate in the swim lesson?
This is entirely dependent on your child. Some kids are encouraged by their parents being in the water while some find their parents a safe harbor and don’t venture out to experience the water. But, parents must be by the pool during the entirety of the session for safety as well as to help your child go to the bathroom or blow their nose etc.

An amazing swim coach! While sitting and looking on at Suzanne teaching my kids to swim, I saw them enjoying sessions and having fun. They trusted her and felt relaxed. She has given my daughter, Katie Kyle, a head start to hopefully achieving her dream of reaching Olympic status. Thanks Sue!

Suzanne is a phenomenal learn to swim coach. My then 2 and 4 year old boys were in love with her. Her gentle yet firm instruction was the perfect combination to both motivate and teach them about pool safety skills. Suzanne uses games and toys to encourage swimming and diving. These activities kept my boys focused and engaged. They love to swim because of her love and dedication to teaching them this invaluable life skill.

Suzanne's learn to swim program was fun, exciting and laid the foundation for getting kids comfortable in both a swimming pool and the ocean. Both my boys, Jordon and Justin, were taught by Suzanne. They have not had swimming lessons in almost 2 years and I can see the techniques in practice when we are at the beach or a swimming pool. Justin was 3yrs old when he started and I'm amazed to see him still using the techniques today. A sure confident booster. A million thanks Auntie Suzanne ❤
When next you start call me we will be there!

Couch Suzanne is incredible patient and loving with children. She coached my three-year-old son and got him to develop swimming skills in only a few sessions. He was in love with her. She made him feel confident in in the pool while attending a class that was fun and well disciplined. An excellent couch.

A great swim coach. Excellent with little children or as she would say “her guppies”. I would recommend her time and again.
